COURSE DESIGN

 Definitions

For purposes of establishing standards for the Seed Capital 2.0 Curriculum, a number of definitions and product specifications have been adopted.

The Seed Capital 2.0 Curriculum refers to all authorized Courses.

A Course refers to an educational product on early stage capital that conforms to established product specifications.  A Course shall be limited to a specific subject, although it is part of a larger subject and will reference other subjects.

Course Formats

A course will be presented in three formats:

  1. A Book
  2. A Class
  3. A Webinar

Book

The Book format will encompass the entire materials for a course.  The Book will be offered in both a digital and hard copy format.  The digital format will include compatibility with distribution in Kindle through Amazon as well as direct sale.

Class

The Class format will encompass the entire materials for a Course, however each presentation may be adjusted in time duration ranging from one hour to forty hours.  The Class format will be offered in a classroom only format and a blended format.  Both formats will be dependent upon access to the Internet for the Illustrations.

Webinar

The Webinar format will encompass the entire materials for a course.  The Webinar format will be offered through a number of online educational vendors.

Length of Course

The length of the Book format and of the Webinar format is intended to encompass forty hours.

The length of the Class format of a Course serves to determine the depth or richness of the Course.  When a Course is presented in its entirety, a Full Course (40 hours or five days), will meet the requirements for three credit hours in an institution of higher education.  Each Course may also be presented in shorter time durations to fit within formats for talks, seminars, workshops as well as accelerated classes.  Courses in the Class format may be presented in the following durations:

  • One Hour
  • Half Day
  • One Day
  • Short Course or Two Days
  • Accelerated Course or Three Days
